Olivier Senn in the power of rhythm podcast

Groove is such a powerful state, that I decided to dedicate a total of 3 episodes to the exploration of this phenomenon.

In this episode Prof. Dr. Olivier Senn from Switzerland, a researcher and lecturer at the Lucerne School of Music with a focus on music psychology, discusses with me how various drumbeats have different ways to stimulate groove.

You also get a lot of different insights into groove research in this episode.

“It’s not only that music makes us move. Also moving makes our perception of music take a different turn and a different quality. It’s a whole picture, a whole very mysterious picture.” – Olivier Senn –
